MUELLER STATE PARK RIDE

We did a fun little loop around Mueller State Park today and we had the perfect weather to enjoy it!
The first part of the trail (not pictured) was really steep downhill for a long time.  I had a blast riding down it but was very concerned how the end of the trail would look.  There is no way I could have come up what we came down but thankfully it ended up being a nice gradual climb back out.
Greg and I did this ride back in 2004 when we traveled for a year and we wanted to take the boys back to the ranch that we admired years ago.
 Coming up on the ranch.
We are going to come back here in a few weeks and ride when all of the aspens are changing colors.
It was such a peaceful day and we had this area all to ourselves.
 The beautiful barn.
Greg was in charge of the camera today.
 Canyon
 My little  buddy.
 Where's August?
 Making a wish!
Oh how I wish I could take that door home with me:)
 The boys.
 Amazing views
Coming back to see these gorgeous trees turn yellow!!

Coming back out was tough for the boys but they did really well.
Last push to the truck.  This was right before I fell trying to push through deep steep sandy trail.  We tipped over and I couldn't unclip fast enough so August had a fun scare but his little trailer protected him from scrapes and bruises thankfully.
Giving in at the end completely worn out.
Sawyer was not feeling well so his riding started out with some tears but he was a trooper the rest of the way.  Proud of these young men.
