HAPPY EASTER!

We took a little road trip to Mueller State Park today to hide the Easter eggs for the boys.

We hiked back about 1.5 miles to an old cabin and decided to disperse the eggs there while the boys enjoyed playing.

Got to hold Canyon's hand a bunch of times today and let me tell you...this momma enjoyed every minute of it.

The boys each had their own eggs to find and helped each other out as they came across them.

In the moment.

Watching the boys in action in any outdoor environment is my favorite thing to do.
Do you spot the egg?

This cabin brought an inviting element to our hunt for eggs.

Canyon searching inside for any loot.

Sawyer was framed just perfectly in this picture.  Pretty excited to get him in action.

We had the gorgeous view of Pikes Peak in the backdrop too.

The old outhouse next to the cabin.

Still searching.

Looking through their eggs and enjoying some candy in a pretty special place.

Exploring their playground.

I always enjoy finding treasure when I am out.  These were all around the cabin and I was able to create my favorite word:)

The boys.

LOVE them.

Bunny ears for August:)

Sawyer John.

Having another sugar stop.

On the way back out, we heard some beautiful sounds of birds and saw a ton of butterfly's.

This one stopped and posed for me:)

The older boys and I took a different "route" back to the trail head.

After the hike and egg hunt we stopped at the playground and had a little bite to eat before heading back home.

Happy Easter from the Cannell's
