Living in a big city has its perks, especially when the outdoor adventures match it!
Colorado Springs has trails galore and today we explored a new one at Black Forest Regional Park.
We did a little scouting to see how the boys would do on their mountain bikes.
This trail will be fun for them and the scenery is gorgeous too!
Anytime there is a fire, the landscape stands out against the black trees and blue skies.
When you summit a "hill" it's time for a break:)

It's crazy the boys start school tomorrow and I'm grateful to be so close this year to their new school.
We finished our little hike and headed off to a company event at the Sky Soxs game.
Cannell's and Sports have never really been a pair but the boys enjoyed the food, ice cream and watching the bats break and balls fly out of bounds:)
A great way to spend our last "summer" day.
