MUELLER STATE PARK

We are loving summer and taking full advantage of our days off with Greg to explore our new area!  Mueller State Park was really fun and they have lots of fun short hikes for the kids!
We started out at Dragonfly Pond...just a quick walk around a trail and interactive information for the kids.
The kids had the chance to compare their jumping skills to other animals.
Our next trail was Peak View Trail.
Fun terrain to play on and another pond at the end to check out.  Lot's of bugs and critters in the ponds:)
 Canyon doing his thing.
Curbside snack and water break before heading out to our last pond.
Our last pond hike was School Pond and it was our furthest at 1.5 miles.
It was a beautiful hike with wildflowers everywhere and amazing scenery.
If you look closely you can see the boys on a bench in front of the pond.
They were excited to find the bench and we had the pond all to ourselves:)

The hike out was all uphill but the boys did great and we had a fun time exploring the park!  We hope to come back soon and set up camp!
