April vanished before our eyes and taking the time to reflect as I update the blog, it's clear that there is so much beauty to be seen everywhere you look. "You can never break someone who sees beauty in everything." Gosh this is SO true. Grateful for this gift.
Boys, I hope you always see the good and the beauty in everything you do and everything you will go through in your lives. Love you to the ends of the earth!
A little park fun. I'll take it.
So many memories of taking the boys to this park back when they loved to play on the equipment. I still hear their laughter and see them always helping other kids to have as much fun as them. Boys, your heart is lovely.
August making homemade whip cream and realizing that it's not that tasty without all of the sugar!
Happy Birthday to you Sawyer. It blows my mind how fast time has gone. Sawyer you are such a special young man. I'm in awe of your discipline and dedication to everything you do. Getting to spend your day with you was extra special.
A little treat after you nailed your driving test!
You're official!
16 years old Birthday Boy!
Another meet in the books!
Fun movie day watching an old favorite Madagascar!
When Canyons teacher is one of your friends, she sends you cool pictures of your kid.
Rollerblading with Auggie. No one was injured. Ha!
To experience this is everything. Grateful for snow days.
Found a new place to play some games and we got to watch Minecraft with Auggie and dine in at the movie theatre. Such a cool experience. Auggie and I shared a burger and we had the best popcorn ever. I don't think we can ever watch a movie anywhere else now.
Easter!
Our annual easter egg hunt never disappoints.
Truly grateful they still pretend they enjoy this:)
Fills my momma heart so much.
Trying on prom attire was Sawyer's favorite thing ever. :)
We did go home with the shirt but he ended up wearing some cool pants of Eric's and his girlfriend bought him a cool tie.
Canyon, there's so much joy in watching you run. Your team kicked butt on this day and what a fun moment to witness.
Checking out the YMCA where August now does his boxing lessons.
Dropped off Auggie and Sawyer to play basketball while Canyon and I got to go prom shopping for him.
Two cuties that have my heart.
Shoutout to this guy who should have his own blog post but putting it here for the boys to remember when they are old and bored reading this blog!!
Eric you deserve the world for joining me on this crazy adventure of parenthood. This April photo collage reminds me how we still make time for one another despite our insane schedules. You love the boys as if they were your own without ever trying to be their dad.
Boys, I hope you know how loved you are and how much thought this man puts into always finding ways to show you love in his own special way. Whether it's driving you to weights, doctor appointments, always cheering you on at your events, making sure the fridge is always stocked with your favorite ice cream and making sure the stuff you put on the Target list, always magically shows up:) I hope you see how he loves your mom and you emulate that someday to your significant other.
You are a rare gem Eric and I don't know how we got to be so lucky to have you in our lives.
Whatever you believe becomes your reality.
Believe in good and you will see good,
Believe in the truth, it always wins,
Believe in yourself and anything is possible.
Love you boys,
mom
