A collection of memories from our trip.
Monday July 2
Day 1 we made it to Green River, WY
Tuesday, July 3
Day 2 we stopped in Boise for a quick rest stop and did a little tour of the live stream at Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park. We drove the rest of the way to Bend, OR and settled in for the night.
The next morning we took a drive to Sisters, OR to visit our favorite little coffee shop before heading out on our adventure.
We drove over Mackenzie Pass and stopped at the Dee Wright Observatory.
The rest of our day was spent hiking to Proxy Falls
Getting to drink water right out of the beautiful creek.

Such a magnificent waterfall.
We had the chance to invite my friend Gregg with us too!
After our adventure and drive home, we stocked up on some groceries and settled in for the night.
Thursday, July 5th
The next day we had a "water" day with the Randles!

After getting off the lake the boys got to go to their favorite pizza place, Pizza Mondo.
And you can't go to Pizza Mondo without hitting the ice cream store across the street and watch a little Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Friday, July 6th
The Chases
Our next day started out visiting some special friends before heading out on another of our favorite waterfall hikes.
Next we stopped by the Randles to have the worlds best cup of coffee made by Suzy, and the kids had another chance to play!
After visiting friends, we fueled up for our hike at Emerald Smoothie!
So blessed to have the Cheney's and Montoya's join us on this hike!

Later that evening I was able to grab a drink with the Randle's and Yatomi's. Thank you Gregg for being the best sitter for the boys. A very full day but so so grateful for the relationships I have in Bend.
Saturday July 7th
Started my day with a great run with Marina on the First Street Rapids Trail.
Next was a bungee jump that I will never forget.

After the jump we went to Smith Rock and climbed Misery Ridge.

Sunday, July 8th
A nice low key day for us.
Met our boy crew at the park in NW Crossing first!
Then the boys and I went on a taste of Bend adventure trying out some of our favorite restaurants.
Our first stop was Jacksons Corner.
Next, was Wild Rose...our favorite Thai place.
The boys finished strong with Cuppa Yo!
Fun rest day.
Monday, July 9th
Took the boys to the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery
After feeding the fish we went on a little hike.

Tuesday, July10th
Rode our bikes from Lava Lands to Sunriver!
Great paved trail.
Once we arrived in Sun River, we had lunch and played for a bit.

Proud of the boys. We put in 17 miles on the bikes this day.
Wednesday July 11th
Our last day in Bend
We had another rest day visiting our favorite playgrounds.

Fun relaxing day.
Thursday, July 12
Drove to Boise, ID and had a nice restful evening.
Found a nice little camp spot along the Salmon River and then headed to Redfish Lake to enjoy the beautiful water.
The Sawtooth Mountain Range is stunning.
The boys had fun boating out to the doc.
Water was so clear and warm.
After a late afternoon play on the water, we went back to camp.
Made some camp style beef stroganoff requested by the boys.
And had fun roasting marshmallows over our tiny propane camp stove.
Settling in for the night. Such a beautiful evening and this view stole my heart.
Saturday, July 14th
Packed up camp and drove to Rock Springs, WY
Got everyone cleaned up and had a nice evening at a hotel.
Sunday, July 15th
Made our way HOME!
Thank you Gregg for letting us stay at your place and making us feel at home.
Thank you to my husband Greg for allowing us this gift to travel and explore and do what we love.
So many precious memories made

Woke up and had a nice breakfast at the hotel and drove to Stanley, ID!

Packed up camp and drove to Rock Springs, WY
Got everyone cleaned up and had a nice evening at a hotel.

Made our way HOME!
